To advocate for animal welfare in the community and provide affordable services, resources and programs to help responsible pet owners keep their pets healthy, happy and in life-long homes.
We will be a widely recognized community-based organization that leads improvement in quality of life for animals in Frederick County by facilitating spay/neuter programs, affordable basic vet care, compassionate humane education, animal welfare advocacy and serving as a resource within the animal welfare community.

The Frederick County Humane Society is a private, non-profit (501)(C)(3) company that does not receive any city, state, or federal funding, and is not affiliated with HSUS. We rely on grants, private donations, and fundraising events for all of our operating expenses.
